Frequently Asked Questions How much do you charge for your classes & services? All of our services are FREE of charge.
Are there any requirements that I or my family need to have to receive your classes & services? All of our services are free and open to the public in a nondiscriminatory basis.
Do I need to filled up an application to start using your classes & services? Yes, you will need to fill an "New Patron Form" online or the first time you come to the center. And check in every time you come in at our front desk.
Can I leave my child/ren in your care and come back later? All children must be accompanied by a sitter, a parent, a legal guardian, or an older sibling 15+ years old at all times.
How many items can I check out at the same time? Patrons can check out as many items as they want or need.
How long can I check the items for? There's no time limit, patrons can have the items checked out for the time they need it. But due to the constant use of the items by all of out patrons, we encourage that you bring back any checked out items as soon as you're done using them.
What happens when I lose a piece of game or toy? Do I need to pay the full price of such item? At the Logan Family Center we understand that pieces of games and toys can get lost. Therefore, we will not hold patrons accountable for missing pieces.
What happens if I lose an item? All the items in our library come from donations or are acquired through a grant. Consequently, the Logan Family Center can't afford to lose an item. Therefore, patrons who lose items "will be penalized with no checking out ANY items for a month."
Why your open hours change in the summer? During the Summer we offer camps that are not open to the whole public due to limited space. Therefore, to make sure we give our patrons the best service, we scheduled our open hours after the summer camps from 1:30 p. m. - 5:30 p. m.
